While he was at Llyn Eiddwen, Chris met Luke Gravett from Llanllwni. Luke had been at the other end of the lake shortly before and had found a Short-eared Owl.
He had also visited Lyn Fanod, where the Long-tailed Duck was back along with four Goosanders and two Goldeneye.
Since its first appearance a few weeks ago the Llyn Fanod Long-tailed Duck has developed striking winter male plumage.
