Quite a bit of general interest at Ynyslas this lunchtime. On the beach, sanderling and one of Tony Cross's red flagged turnstones. On the boatyard fields, curlew, lapwing, redshank, golden plover and Canada geese. Wigeon, little egret and the usual gulls were about the estuary. A few passerines about including reed bunting, mistle thrush and meadow pipit.
