On a stroll around Talybont on Tuesday morning, it was good to see dippers clearly holding territory on both the Afon Leri and Afon Ceulan. Elsewhere there were still plenty of mistle thrush and the occasional fieldfare around. In Allt y Crib woods, goldcrest were displaying - a nice shot of colour on a drab day. Overhead the Usual Suspects were very much in evidence - red kite, buzzard and raven
