Aggro in the air

This morning above the cliffs at Gwbert the local Buzzard was being seriously harassed by three Herring gulls though I couldn't see that it was carrying any coveted food items and shortly afterwards, the buzz having cleared off inland, a female Sparrowhawk put the jitters up the 50 strong Oystercatcher flock that had been happily worming the field for 30 minutes.

At Swallows Yard were 44 Wigeon lounging about on the short grass by the ditch in the brief sunshine and a Little Grebe ducking and diving out on the water.

A Grey Wagtail was picking its way along the stream edge just across the road whilst above in the willows a couple of Robins were auditioning.
