As editor of the Ceredigion Bird Report, Arfon Williams is trying to arrive at an accurate picture of the distribution of Greenfinches and Blackcaps in Ceredigion in winter.
Greenfinches have been declining in the county (and elsewhere) for years and so an up to date picture of numbers and distribution of this species in particular would be useful.
Also useful would be a better understanding of the numbers and distribution of wintering Blackcaps in the county.
The distribution maps of both species below will be updated with your records and published in the Ceredigion Bird Report in due course.
