Popped into Tregaron earlier to pick up a few bits from the Spar. A Great White Egret flew over the road at Coxhead, not far from the heronry, and the second time I've seen it thereabouts this winter. Whilst having breakfast I saw a Merlin flying over the house (perhaps same as yesterday in Lampeter). As far as I can recall, my first ever sighting of this species whilst I was wearing slippers and munching toast.
