A walk out today to Cors Caron Railway walk produced up to 8 Goldcrests and 1 Firecrest, 3 Nuthatches, 3 Treecreepers, 2 Willow Tits, 2 Meadow Pipits and 5 Reed Buntings, 1 Sparrowhawk, 5 Whooper Swans and the highlight was a really good view of a Short-eared Owl by Alltddu.
From the south end by Pont Einon this evening produced 5 Little Egrets, 3
male and 9 female Goosanders, 30+ Lapwing, 1 Ringtail Hen Harrier and a hunting
Barn Owl.
