As I was enjoying the warmth of the sunshine next to the trig point at the top of Trychrug this morning, listening to a song thrush and a blackbird, 2 woodcock flew out of the undergrowth and did a wonderful fly by. Shortly afterwards I saw 3 Goosanders on the small pool on the south of the hill.
