The 30+ flock which has been in the bay for the second half of the winter is diminishing as the birds fly north. Some birders are recording their night time flights across northern England on their way to Scandinavia.
Chiffchaffs singing in woodland near Cardigan and seen flitting along a roadside hedge though a scrubbed up valley south of Llangrannog only had 1 singing this morning however there were 20 Chough to entertain with their aerial antics. Strangely this coastal scrub was holding a calling Tawny Owl!
