Great to see my first Sand Martin of the year near Llyn Berwyn this afternoon as well as two Hen Harriers and 14 Fieldfares that were moving NE. A quick look from Pont Einon revealed 14 Curlews, 12 Lapwings and 2 Redshank. On the drive to the Lampeter co-op this evening there were 10+ Grey Heron’s drifting over the road, coming into land in some coniferous woodland in Coxhead, near Llangybi. Presumably a heronry nearby?
