Llanrhystud & Pen Dinas

An adult and a 1st-winter Little Gull flew south past Llanrhystud just before 9am this morning. In amongst a large flock of Black-headed Gulls & Common Gulls (c.500 & c.120) sat on the sea off the lime kilns were 22 Med Gulls and a 1st-winter Kittiwake. Two Sand Martins and 5 Gannets went south also. A quick walk around the scrub at Pen Dinas revealed at least eleven singing Chiffchaffs.
