Aberystwyth prom

When I arrived at Castle Point this morning there were two Wheatears, two Turnstones and a Shag on the outer rocks, and a 1st w Med Gull over on College Rocks.

Many more gulls than usual offshore, some in rafts with others moving north; at least 400 in total.  Of the ones within i.d. range most were Herring Gulls, with some Black-headed, and among them I picked out two 1st w Little Gulls, though there may have been more.  Only around 30 Gannets in total, and towards the end of the watch a few Kittiwakes started to appear. 13 Common Scoter also went north.
