Monday 26th early a.m.
One of my BBS
squares above Cwm Mabws - basically along the Nant Rhydrosser.
A Tree pipit
was the first I've had there in nine years.
A small flock
(7) of wheatears, assumed migrating, one of which was a smart male Greenland,
the others a male Northern and what I put down as five Northern females, based
on size.
A pair of
Northern Wheatears at their usual breeding site.
No Cuckoo -
usually heard on my May or early June visits.
