Helen and I enjoyed an hour in the sun on the point this morning. On a rising tide our wader count ended up at two Whimbrel, three Turnstones, two Purple Sandpipers and a Common Sandpiper. Apart from the mostly distant Gannets and Manxies, two Sandwich Terns and a few auks passed by.
Much closer was a Grey Seal, which was making a meal of a large fish, and shortly before we left a couple of Bottle-nosed Dolphins appeared on the scene.
