This morning I had my first walk along the coastal path just south of New Quay for nearly two years. Nothing unexpected bird wise Auks, Fulmars, Gannets Manxies, a pair of Chough seen both outward and on the return leg of the walk so presuming the same birds, Peregrine, and the currently ubiquitous Whimbrel. The singing Whitethroats however stole the show, spectacular in the fabulous morning light and blue sea background.
