A stroll on the railway walk this morning up to Llyn Maesllyn we saw 4 Blackcaps, 3 Nuthatches, 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Goldcrests, 2 Wrens and 2 Willow warblers also noticed 1 Wood Warbler. On the lake were a pair of Teal and Greylags, also 1 Coot and 1 Moorhen. On the circular broadwalk we observed the first Hobby of the year, also 4 more Willow Warblers and 2 Chiffchafs, and 4 Reed Buntings and 1 Willow Tit and 1 Marsh Tit.

Interesting that Will and Chris both had a Hobby today, at sites only about six miles apart. Possibly same bird?
