Cors Caron 6th May

On a walk around Cors Caron yesterday in the late afternoon I heard a Cuckoo/s calling several times and saw one bird in flight, this and two singing Garden Warblers were firsts for me this year. Other birds included a Whinchat, large numbers of Swifts over the boardwalk scything past at head height and point blank range, amazing! Large numbers of Swallows and Martin's. A full supporting cast of Warblers. Treecreeper, Bullfinches and a female Pied Fly in the trees next to Maesllyn lake. A much better experience than I had this morning at Llanrhystud where birds were thin on the ground as per Harry's earlier post.
