UPLAND VALLEY WALK

It was a bright but extremely cold afternoon yesterday at Cyneiniog. In a very

small area of the valley Jill and I watched singing Redstarts, Tree Pipits, Whinchat and enjoyed a clear view of a singing Garden Warbler. A calling Cuckoo remained out of sight. I took some digi-scope shots of a Whinchat and Tree Pipit, although neither of these birds were very close to us.
