Ynyslas this morning

Ynyslas this morning - Two drake Eiders and two Little Terns in the estuary mouth. Two Yellow Wagtails on the golf course.

Decent numbers of warblers around with two Garden Warblers, a Lesser Whitethroat, 14 Whitethroats, 31 Sedge Warblers (clearly an overnight arrival), a Blackcap, a Gropper and 3 Lesser Redpoll in the dune scrub and various reedy ditches.

40 Whimbrel and a Grey Plover at the tern posts. A few hundred Swallows, 70+ House Martins, 10+ Swifts, 11 Greenland Wheatears & 30 Sanderling seen also. Hundreds of small waders on the beach at the brickhouse but they stood little chance against the dogs charging around.

Garden Warbler

At least 14 Sedge Warblers in and around this ditch first thing this morning
