I have recently come across at least two singing Firecrests holding territory within the county, presumably females/nests nearby. The habitat was quite sheltered, open mature conifer woodland. I suspect there will be plenty more in the county (recently found them breeding in Radnorshire too), just a case of finding them. Easiest done by learning the calls and song.
