Graham Rees

I've just looked at the Pembrokeshire blog and seen the sad news of the  passing of Graham Rees.  Graham will be well known to those of us who have spent any time seawatching at Strumble Head.

Graham had an unparalleled knowledge of seabird passage at Strumble and one of my most vivid memories of seawatching there concerns his willingness to help those of us less skilled.  He had picked up a passing Wilson's Petrel and did his utmost to get me onto it.  Despite all his efforts I never did see the bird, but that was my failure, not his, and I've been grateful for his help ever since.

Please have a look at Wednesday's post on the Pembrokeshire blog for more about Graham.
