A couple of hours staring at a mirror calm sea at Borth Cliffs yesterday produced just the one bottle nosed dolphin but a good number of shearwaters close inshore in small groups on the water or flying south. There were also a few gannets diving for prey. Looked like the early signs of the annual Borth Bay seabird gathering.
