A feeding frenzy of mostly Manxies off Borth this morning later dispersed and the birds settled on the sea; nicely spaced to enable a count of ca12,000 Manx Shearwaters and around 80 Gannets. A few hundred Herring Gulls and about 25 Sandwich Terns made up the rest.
Yesterday morning there were 75 Med Gulls on College Rocks, Aberystwyth, with many of them flying in from the south while I was there.
