We went for a lovely walk through Coed y Bont this morning, got completely lost in the boggy tussocks at the top of the woodland (as usual), and finally made it to the abbey (free entrance). Whilst ambling round the ruins I had a fantastic close view of a juvenile Goshawk, perhaps 150m away at tree top height, as it shot into an area of oak trees, just beyond the graveyard. A few Swallows flew over.
