Cors Caron

I started on Pont Einon  this morning where the highlight was a Merlin.  Otherwise quiet; Little Grebe, two Little Egrets and three Grey Herons until a low-flying Hercules flushed ca55 Canada Geese. previously unseen, from nearby rushy fields.

Very little on Maesllyn, just a few Teal and two Coots, probably due to tree felling along the railway track.  A quick look over Ystrad Caron fields on the way home provided my first Brambling of the winter.
