During a short seawatch from New Quay this morning (19/1) an adult pair of Eiders flying Southwest were the best birds of the session. Managed a couple of grab shots before they disappeared which I've enlarged. Other birds seen were singles of Purple Sandpiper, Fulmar and Razorbill in breeding plumage, 11 Red-throated Divers, numerous Common Scoters and Guillemots and a pair of Choughs
