Chris Bird has just called me in a state of some excitement to say that he is watching a Glossy Ibis eating worms in a field adjacent to John and Sheila Gettings' place. The bird was seen by John as it flew over the house before landing in the field. Sheila is attempting to approach close enough for a photograph before the light goes altogether.
