I made my first trip of 2022 to Ynyslas this morning. The best birds around the mouth of the Leri were: Both Pale-bellied and dark-bellied Brent Geese. The 1W male Eider, a female Hen Harrier which flew from the mouth of the Leri right across the estuary, a female Merlin, a Great-crested Grebe, 7 Grey Plover, 10 Knot, 14 Skylarks feeding with 7 Reed Buntings. 17 Shags (15 with crests) and a Guillemot.
