Following on from Ian's comments about greenfinches the other day, I can record that there have been at least three calling in various parts of Talybont over the past week or so. Yesterday morning (Wednesday 9th Feb) there were two great spotted woodpeckers drumming on the northern fringes of Allt y Crib woods as well as a quietly woo-ing tawny owl
