Llansantffraed and Llanrhystud

Bob and I enjoyed a run down the coast this morning.  A cold onshore wind, but pleasantly mild when out ofit. At Llansantffraid the wader selection comprised ca60 Golden Plovers, two Grey Plovers, 15 Turnstones, two Redshank, two Curlews and at lest 30 Oystercatchers, including the leucistic bird, now in its 17th winter here. Very little offshore but there were a few Common Gulls around.

Not a lot at Llanrhystud apart from nine Grey Plovers and three Knot on the beach.
