Various bits and bobs

I can only support Ian H and Jeremy M's comments about the lack of spring migrants about. There have however been wood warbler singing in Allt y Crib woods, Talybont. Willow warblers do seem thin on the ground at the moment hereabouts though.

JM's red flagged turnstone was likely as not from North Point, Ynyslas, where Tony Cross has been ringing them over the last last few seasons I think.
At sea, a lone gannet passed Borth yesterday. Earlier in the week, a single little egret flying out at sea was the sole outcome of a couple of hours dolphin watching at Borth memorial.

Come back the southerly winds!
