I'm glad that Martin witnessed the feeding frenzy at Ynyslas. I arrived on the prom this morning to find Manx Shearwaters streaming past Castle Point, many close inshore. Ca800 went north in the first 10 min then the passage slackened. A feeding raft of several thousand manxies and around 50 Gannets were well offshore. A single Sandwich tern went north.
Chris and I have been meaning to check the gulls on Blaendolau fields so I did so on my way home but found only two Med Gulls among the large species.
