Yesterday evening there were nine turnstones (mainly breeding plumage) on the prom wall at high tide.
Some were there Tuesday evening as I heard a call, and saw wings flapping
but I was too far away to identify them and did not have binoculars with
me.
Also yesterday evening it was good to see a minimum of 3 swifts and at least 5
house martins (the maximum number I have so far seen in Aber this summer) flying
around Hill 60 on the castle.
Only 1 gannet yesterday morning, very quiet, but plenty of dolphin
activity.
