Yesterday morning Elena and I enjoyed the spectacle of 5 - 6000 Manx Shearwaters close inshore at Borth, most of them very active. Then at Aber there were five Ringed Plovers on the rocks at Castle Point, my first of the autumn there.
Later in the day Chris B counted 70 Med Gulls on College Rocks and a further 100 - 150 in the harbour.Returning later to count the harbour birds, he found they had all flown off.
