Aberystwyth, Borth and Ynyslas

An early start at Castle Point on a rising tide produced 10 Ringed Plovers, seven Turnstones and four Common Sandpipers. A female Wheatear was on the beach.  15 Med Gulls on College Rocks included three juvs.

Offshore. Parties of nine Canada Geese and nine Goosanders wnt south and two Bottle-nosed Dolphins north.  Then to Borth where a Sparrowhawk  flew across about a mile south of the village.

Thousands of Manx Shearwaters again off Borth and quite a few Gannets.  No counts attempted as they were scattered as far as the eye could see.  A brief visit to Ynyslas produced three Whimbrel, a few Ringed Plovers  six Med Gulls and a Common Gull.
