An early start at Castle Point on a rising tide produced 10 Ringed Plovers, seven Turnstones and four Common Sandpipers. A female Wheatear was on the beach. 15 Med Gulls on College Rocks included three juvs.
Offshore. Parties of nine Canada Geese and nine Goosanders wnt south and two Bottle-nosed Dolphins north. Then to Borth where a Sparrowhawk flew across about a mile south of the village.
Thousands of Manx Shearwaters again off Borth and quite a few Gannets. No counts attempted as they were scattered as far as the eye could see. A brief visit to Ynyslas produced three Whimbrel, a few Ringed Plovers six Med Gulls and a Common Gull.
