Pen Dinas

 Within half an hour today on the south side of Pen Dinas I had two sparrowhawks, from the size difference a male and a female, then a male kestrel, followed by the ubiquitous red kite that we don't bother to mention any more and finally a peregrine.

I know it's not a bird, but also a lovely to see  hummingbird hawkmoth on the red valerian amongst the large numbers of red admirals, small tortoiseshells and painted ladies. 
There was a little egret in the harbour too
