Aberystwyth prom

This morning there were 11 Ringed Plovers and two Turnstones at Castle Point.  A Kingfisher flew past and was later on College Rocks and a Little Egret went south offshore.

Yesterday I arrived to find Simon Cox seawatching.  I joined him but there was very little out there except for a few Gannets, Kittiwakes and Common Scoters.  Simon then found a Razorbill on the sea.   After a complete absence of waders, the rising tide brought 25 Turnstones past the point and two Redshanks onto College Rocks.
