Yesterday; my id skills are not always the best but I was quickly on to a familiar looking red woolly hat and legged it out to the point. Arfon immediately showed me the AGP and frankly I'm not sure that I would have located it otherwise. I haven't seen much vismig this autumn and didn't yesterday. However, on my way back to the car I flushed a small flock of Siskins that were resting on the beach, close to the tide, seemingly taking a breather.
This morning, not far from Clywedog plantation (Llanfair Clydogau), I located a very late Common Whitethroat on a gorse covered hillside.
