A sunny late morning at Patch showed good numbers of dunlin and ringed plover, a few curlew and little egrets, a bar tailed godwit and a solitary grey plover that has been around since Saturday - a day when the osprey was seen over Gwbert village, not far from the Cliff hotel. Sadly a dead grey seal was lying on the beach close to the Boating Club.
