Plenty of water on the fields today, attracting a Water Pipit with the Rock and Meadow Pipits. Also 30+Teal, 40+ Oycs and 15 Curlew. At least a dozen Lesser Black-backed Gulls, unusual in winter. Then a 1w Little Gull flew in, hawking for insects before resting briefly on the water. (I lost sight of it when I was harassed by an uncontrolled dog).
In the harbour, five Shags with the Cormorants. Four Med Gulls, as well as several more LBBGs, made this a seven-gull morning.
I checked South Beach for the Little Gull but very little there (although yesterday there were up to 11 Kittiwakes in the surf and a Sanderling on the beach).
