The Chough I photographed here in Aberporth in December was ringed as a youngster at Mwnt in 2019, and seen several times between then and now along this stretch of coast. Many thanks to Adrienne Stratford who provided the above information.
Interestingly though I was surprised to see
a Gannet circling off Aberporth in the sun between storms on Tuesday, and also
the little Egret was back (I am boldly assuming it is the same one that appeared
in the cold snap before Christmas) on the rocks at the base of the cliffs on the
south end of Aberporth Bay yesterday.
