Whimbrel was my target bird as I arrived on the prom earlier. No luck, just a couple of Turnstones and Ringed Plovers, so I'm glad Ian had more success. I'm better at predicting birds than finding them these days.
Then a walk along the cycle path below Pendinas, hoping for newly arrived warblers (you know which) but just the usual lot including the very vociferous Cetti's. Sand and House Martins made up the majority of a hirundine passage, with just a few Swallows.
