On the 19th; at Coed Maenarthur (Pontrhydygroes), 7 Wood Warblers, Cuckoo, Dipper, Grey Wagtail plus small numbers of Crossbills, Pied Flycatchers and Tree Pipits. Rather like my recent visit to Long Wood, numbers of Wood Warblers seemed much lower than last year.
This morning, a pleasant amble at Llanerchaeron with Mrs M, yielded a Little Grebe on the lake and a Spotted Flycatcher near the church.
