Still five Purple Sands by the harbour this morning. Quite late, though the odd one or two sometimes linger into late May.
To Ynyslas where small waders flying in on the falling tide to the area between the tern posts and the Leri. About 350 in total, roughly 60% Dunlin, 40% Ringed Plover plus seven Sanderling and a gorgeous summer-plumaged Turnstone. Over by the Leri were five Whimbrel and a Bar-tailed Godwit.
