A 2cy Med Gull on College Rocks this afternoon was Chris's first of the summer. At Nanteos, one of the herons' nests has three young, weeks later than normal for their stage of development.
Some good news on the Swift front. There are three pairs nesting on the farm next door to Chris and a friend of his has five or six pairs on his house in Pontrhydygroes.
Finally, a Barn Owl flying over a neighbouring field last week ended up by passing over the bungalow roof calling constantly.
