A Seawatch from Mwnt this morning produced the following:
1 Balearic Shearwater, bird of the day, enjoyed prolongued views as it flew alongside two Manxies.
6 Storm Petrels.
7 Arctic Skuas.
1 Red-throated Diver in summer plumage.
(Interestingly we may now have an accurate flight time between Mwnt and Strumble, as the diver flies, as Luke saw probably the same bird 38mins later down there).
3 Common Scoters.
34 Mediterranean Gulls.
133 Sandwich Terns. Hundreds passing continually. Stopped counting them.
10 Common Terns.
19 Ravens in a flock.
1 Ringed Plover.
Heres a grab shot of two of the Arctic Skuas harassing a Kittiwake.
