Helen and I met up again yesterday and this morning. Today's highlight was a dark morph Arctic Skua which paused briefly to harass a Sandwich Tern before continuing south. The same waders still present, plus several fly-pasts from a couple of Common Sandpipers. A few Gannets, five Manx Shearwaters, a male Common Scoter and three Wigeon flew north and five Sandwich Terns south. Six imm. Shags on the sea and a Med Gull on College Rocks.
Yesterday a Redshank joined the usual waders at the point, 17 Turnstones flew south and a Wheatear perched on the prom railings, just a couple of yards from me.
