Atrocious conditions at the brick house this morning and the only birds visible and moving in an hours watch were three gannets and 16 Manx shearwaters.
Later, at the tern posts there were two curlew sandpipers, 11
sanderling, three turnstone, seven knot and around 100 each of ringed plovers
and dunlin. Three of the plovers were ringed with a yellow ring above and a
white ring below with E19, E23 and H88. Tried to look up on bird ringing site
but no luck.
