Another visit to Ceredigion

Had walks at Llangrannog, New Quay, Mwnt, Cardigan, Gwebert.

Overall it seemed rather quiet birdwise, although it was, of course, great for us to see Choughs again (2 Llangrannnog and 3 at Mwnt). Was a nice selection of waterfowl off Gwbert (Patch?) on Sunday, as the tide was turning with 5 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin, 3 Redshank, 2 smart Greenshank, Oystercatcher and Curlew, small flock of Wigeon, at least 12 Med Gulls and 10 Little Egrets.

Best wildlife sighting was of 2 Bottlenose Dolphins close in shore off Mwnt. Otherwise just a single Gannet, a shag and 2 Guillemots and a Stonechat there, plus the Choughs.

Saw just a handful of Redwing from the car, not sure where now! Had 1200 over a site In I survey in Oxfordshire last week!
