Seawatching from the Brickhouse this morning produced 6 Red-throated Divers, 2 Sandwich Terns and 100+ Common Scoter in various sized groups scattered across the sea or flying back and forth.
Also of note were numbers of Swallows coming
off the sea in an almost continuous stream over the period I was watching,
amounting to many hundreds. Later checking the fields at Ynyslas, Swallows were
still coming through, heading south.
